Creating Mood in your Photos with Post Editing

Do you love to create a mood with your photos?  The great thing about using post editing programs, such as Lightroom, Photoshop/Photoshop Elements is that it can create drama and change the mood of a photograph.

In the photo above, the whites were increased and the shadows were darkened giving it a vintage, time-worn look.

To give a more moodier and rich dramatic effect, the photo was darken and a vignette was applied.

Above is the image clean edited from the camera.  As you can see starting with a good photo, you can apply different techniques to create and set the mood that you want.
