Meet Teresa & Mixed Media Class
I have always had a passion for nature and crafting. In my younger years, I would go for walks in our woods and fields and come home with bouquets of wild flowers, pretty pebbles, or leaves. If it caught my eye, it came home with me. As I got older, I branched out and started dabbling with my crafty side. I took my mom’s wax for canning jelly and made waxed flowers. I started smashing flowers in books. One year for Christmas, I was given a rock tumbler and I started polishing up those beautiful rocks. I had paper everywhere that I had drawn on, glued or cut.
I never thought of it as anything special, I just liked to play and to this day I still like to play. My playing has changed a little over the years, but I still have the passion. And my playing has lead me to this new adventure and I am excited to share it with all of you.
Never think you are too old to play – rock, paper, scissors – is still my game of choice I just play the game a little differently now.
